Charlotte started drinking from a straw recently, and she loves drinking smoothies and milkshakes that way. When I started up the blender to make this smoothie she started squealing with excitement. She was also very excited to put her hat on by herself, which is why it is crooked.
Charlotte got a little watering can, and she takes watering the plants very seriously.
She also likes to pull leaves and flowers off the new plants Brian got.
When we were in Colorado, my friend Katie taught Charlotte how to get dizzy, and now she cracks herself up spinning around.
Charlotte likes burping and making fake burping noises, and she has recently started giving us this funny/scary evil look.
We took Charlotte on her first bike ride today in her new seat.
We went to the Arboretum and saw lots of pretty flowers and trees in bloom.
And of course the snack break was the best part.
We spent a fun week in Colorado last week visiting friends.
We took Charlotte on a little nature walk in Rocky Mountain National Park. Unfortunately I didn’t get a good shot of her picking up a piece of dried elk poop.
Then we refueled with ice cream afterwards.
We walked around on Pearl Street a lot.
Pajama time with Charlotte and Charlie, Erena and Shuka’s new baby. Charlotte liked poking at him and pulling on his ears, and trying to get into his bouncy seat.

The safety information card provided some very important entertainment on the flight home.
The weather on Easter is usually not so great, but this year it was sunny and in the 70s. After all the rain and flooding of the past few weeks, the sun was very welcome.
We got to have an outdoor Easter egg hunt with Charlotte at my parents’ house. She was even more excited about it when she realized there was candy inside the eggs. She loves M&Ms, especially since we’ve been using them as bribes to get her to take her ear infection medicine this past week.
